MyVAID — Privacy Policy

MyVAID is operated by Ops Flow, LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you use myvaid.com, why, who it goes to, and what you can ask us to do with it.

MyVAID is a product of Ops Flow, LLC. For the purposes of privacy law, Ops Flow, LLC is the controller of the information described here.

What we collect

Account information. Sign-in is handled by Clerk, our authentication provider. We receive your email address and an account identifier from Clerk. Your password, or any social sign-in you use, is handled by Clerk and is never stored by MyVAID.

What you tell us about your business. Your industry, your team size, the problems you select, and anything you write in the optional description field. This is the input your report is built from.

Your reports. The recommendations generated for you, and any tools you save to your stack tracker.

Usage records. How many reports you have generated in the current month, your plan status, and account timestamps.

Usage and analytics. We use PostHog to understand how people use MyVAID. This includes pages viewed, key actions such as starting the questionnaire, the industry and team size you pick, generating a report, upgrading, exporting a PDF, and clicking a recommended tool, as well as device and browser type, referring site, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Once you sign in, this activity is linked to your account. We do not send the free-text business description to our analytics provider, and we do not record your screen or sessions.

Payment information. We do not collect or store your card details. Payment is handled by Stripe, which sends us a customer reference and your subscription status. Your card number never reaches our servers.

Technical information. Authentication cookies set by Clerk, an analytics identifier set by PostHog, and standard server and error logs, which can include IP address and browser details, kept for security and debugging.

We do not collect phone numbers, and MyVAID does not send text messages.

How we use it

To create your account and sign you in through Clerk. Clerk also handles account security and password resets. To generate your reports. To enforce the free tier limit. To take payment and manage your subscription. To understand how MyVAID is used, measure what's working, and improve the product. To fix problems and keep the service secure.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

AI processing

Generating a report means sending your business description and selected problems to a third-party AI model provider, which returns the recommendations. Your account email and Clerk account identifier are not sent.

Your information is not used to train anyone's AI models.

Model output can be inaccurate. That is a product limitation rather than a privacy one, and it is covered in our Terms of Service.

Affiliate links

Some links in your report are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up, the destination tool may tell us that a referral came from us so a commission can be paid. Those programs may also set their own cookies once you land on their site, which is governed by their privacy policies, not this one.

Recommendations are generated by the model first and affiliate links are applied afterward, so commissions do not influence what gets recommended.

Who we share it with

We share information with service providers who need it to run MyVAID, in these categories:

• Authentication. Clerk, which manages sign-in and account security.
• Payment processing. Stripe, which processes payments and may act as merchant of record on your purchase. Stripe handles your card details under its own privacy policy.
• AI model providers, for generating your reports.
• Product analytics. PostHog, which helps us understand how the site is used.
• Hosting and infrastructure, where the application and database run.
• Error monitoring and analysis tools, which may incidentally receive technical details from a failed request.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case we would tell you first.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar browser storage for two purposes: keeping you signed in, using authentication cookies set by Clerk, and product analytics, using a random identifier set by PostHog so we can tell visits apart. Stripe may set cookies on its checkout page, and affiliate programs may set cookies on their own sites, under their own policies.

We do not use cookies for advertising and we do not run advertising trackers on MyVAID. You can block or clear cookies in your browser. Blocking analytics will not affect how MyVAID works, but blocking sign-in cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.

How long we keep it

Account and report data is kept while your account exists. Logs are kept for a limited period for security and debugging. Analytics data is kept only as long as it is useful for understanding and improving the product.

If you delete your account or ask us to delete your information, we delete your account record, your reports, and the analytics records linked to your account. Some information may persist in backups for a short period, and we keep what we are legally required to keep, such as transaction records for tax purposes.

Security

Sign-in and password security are handled by Clerk, and MyVAID does not store passwords. The site is served over HTTPS. Access to the production database is restricted.

No service can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, get a copy of it, or object to certain processing. You have these rights regardless of where you live as far as we are concerned, so just ask.

Email info@opsflow.pro from the address on your account and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Children

MyVAID is for business use and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

International users

MyVAID is operated from the United States and your information is processed there. If you are using it from elsewhere, you are sending your information to the United States, where privacy law differs from your own.

Changes

We may update this policy. If a change is material we will give notice in the app or by email. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
